I am passionate to work with a diverse range of patients. As a contextual behavioral psychologist, I utilize approaches such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). These types of psychotherapy will require patients to do homework and actively create new meaningful experiences. Many of my patients have found going through this type of therapy life-changing.
With the exception of Lyra Health, I do not accept insurance directly. If you have a PPO insurance plan, I would be considered an out-of-network provider. Depending on your PPO plan, you can get reimbursed around 20-80% of the session fee. If you are interested in using your PPO insurance, I suggest you call them and ask about their policy on out-of-network behavioral health care. You will want to know (1) the amount of your deductible, (2) what percentage of behavioral health services they will reimburse for out of network providers, and (3) whether there are limits on the number of visits per calendar year. Should you choose to come to the here for treatment, you will be required to pay for your session in full at the time of service. I will provide you with a monthly statement (“superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Rates for therapy are $250 for a 50-minute session. You may be able to get partial reimbursement through your insurance company (see above). Payments can be made by cash or credit card.
